Prototype-001 is the first resolved build of the Omen Tier pitch repair tool.
Laser milled from solid 4.8 mm brass, the form is defined through deep excavation rather than surface engraving, creating real depth, shadow, and durability. The body is finished with a blackened patina, then selectively brushed to expose the brass at contact points, allowing the piece to begin its wear journey from the first round.
The back surface features an engraved hatch that serves both as grip and wear management, designed to age evenly through use rather than polish unpredictably.
Set into the face is a copper insert, paired with a stainless steel insert that has been glass bead blasted for a soft, matte contrast. The inserts are bonded and finished flush, remaining visually protected as the surrounding brass develops character over time.
Edges and high points are intentionally brushed, not polished. This finish is designed to evolve with handling, pocket carry, and play — wear is expected, encouraged, and considered part of the piece’s personal history.
Prototype-001 defined the final direction of the Omen pitch repair tool.
A serialised production version will follow, sharing the same core design while exhibiting subtle variations in finish and character inherent to small-batch production.
